Rep. Suhas Subramanyam launched the Agritourism Caucus at Great Country Farms in Bluemont on Thursday—he held up a USDA agritourism resource manual during the event. He and Rep. David Rouzer aimed to spur agritourism to support small farms in the 10th District as local farmers and winery owners discussed inconsistent agritourism regulations.
A new restaurant called Tio Pinche Bar & Grill is coming to Sterling as it takes over the RiceBerry Market space at 22034 Shaw Road in a retail center near Route 28—West Church Road. The owners say the restaurant will serve Salvadoran Honduran food with hints of other Latin American flavors and hope to open next month if all goes well.
