Leesburg Police said a suspect wanted for felony grand larceny escaped handcuffed at 10:43 p.m. Friday but was taken into custody at 8:14 a.m. Saturday on the W&OD Trail after a citizen reported a matching person, and the suspect was identified as Tazi Hardin.
The Loudoun County Office of Elections and Voter Registration announced winners of its I Voted Sticker Contest. Tonya Sutherland won first place for her design featuring the dogwood and Northern Cardinal — the winning sticker will be used on Nov. 4, while Melissa Lew and Samantha Widjaja placed second and third.
