- ➤ The Loudoun County government surplus auction in Leesburg features items for families including wooden playhouses, toy trucks, and seesaws along with office furniture and storage boxes. - ➤ Construction crews have been hired to prepare the vacant lot at 44970 Russell Branch Parkway for Xavo Motor Club near Topgolf and XCAL, a 128,000 sqft center featuring a restaurant, theater, auto showroom, storage garages, and lounge. - ➤ On Monday, Feb. 9, LCPS Superintendent Aaron Spence presented the fiscal year 2027 budget to the Board of Supervisors featuring nearly $2.1 billion in funding and a $105 million local tax increase. - ➤ The Loudoun Education Foundation presented its annual report to the School Board Tuesday evening, reporting $3.7 million raised in 2025, $2 million spent on student programs, nearly 47,500 weekend meals provided + $200,000 in teacher support grants.
