- ➤ Signage on a former bank building at Cedar Lake Plaza off Route 7 shows plans for a new Taco Bell that will open in spring 2027. The update ends nearly three years of local speculation about the future site in Sterling. The Burn

EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Leesburg’s Loudoun County Public Schools Division of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility presented its annual report to the School Board Tuesday, reporting 153 support instances, 142 equity leads and 17 walkthroughs at 15 elementary and two high schools. - ➤ The Loudoun County School Board approved academic support plans on Feb. 24 for 11 struggling elementary schools to help them meet state standards. Loudoun Times-Mirror
- ➤ On Tuesday, the Loudoun County School Board and Loudoun Education Association signed a new collective bargaining agreement for teachers (including step increases, cost-of-living adjustments and benefits). It will take effect in June and expire in 2029. Loudoun Now
- ➤ Tuesday, the Loudoun County School Board reviewed division data showing 17 restraint or seclusion instances last school year, including 9 restraints and 8 seclusions (mostly among students with disabilities).
