ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ On Saturday, Mar. 21, teams of volunteers gathered at Ida Lee Park in Loudoun County to remove spotted lanternfly egg masses from trees and vines, helping protect local vineyards and trees. The collaborative effort—supported by local organizations and a multi-million-dollar grant—drew over 1,000 participants and will continue with events on the following two Saturdays + tagging of invasive Tree of Heaven.
