  • A ceremony was held on Sunday, March 29 at the courthouse lawn to honor Vietnam War veterans and the 12 local residents killed in service. Capt. Kenneth (Dutch) Rauch and County Chair Phyllis Randall stressed the need for ongoing support for veterans and their families.  Loudoun Now
  • LoCo Disc Golf Club raised $31,319 for Loudoun Hunger Relief at its Ice Bowl event — the funds are set to support local hunger programs, according to a news release.  Loudoun Times-Mirror
  • A preconstruction meeting on Leesburg’s upcoming pickleball courts project will take place at 7:30 p.m. April 7 at the lower-level banquet hall of Ida Lee Park Recreation Center.  Loudoun Times-Mirror

BUSINESS NEWS

  • The Mighty Midget Kitchen restored its historic neon sign at 220 Loudoun Street SE next to Mom’s Apple Pie and is expected to reopen in summer after a 3+ year delay. The metal stand, built from World War II parts, will resume serving its classic menu.  The Burn
