- ➤ The Loudoun County School Board voted Tuesday to form a select committee that will oversee negotiations over the school resource officer program including the Sheriff’s Office + Leesburg PD. - ➤ Loudoun County Public Schools is increasing driver recruitment as substitute bus drivers ask for improved pay + working conditions amid a national shortage. The school system says the move will help secure safe, on-time transportation for students. Loudoun Times-Mirror
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Leesburg will launch a two-week recycling inspection program in partnership with Patriot Disposal as town staff check bins before trash pickup. Bins with over 20% nonrecyclable material will receive an Oops tag (guidelines included) to help residents sort recyclables correctly. Loudoun Now

- ➤ The Town of Round Hill now offers customers real-time water usage tracking through the Neptune My360 portal (developed as part of utility upgrades). Customers can register online using their bill's account number and set alerts for high usage. Loudoun Now
