- ➤ The spring Loudoun Farm Tour will run May 17 and May 18, featuring self-guided visits to 36 farms in western Loudoun County—where visitors can see working farms and sample local products. Sponsored by Loudoun Economic Development, the free tour will highlight the county's more than 1,300 active farms that produce over $50 million in agricultural value annually. WTOP

- ➤ A new Plaza Mexico restaurant is set to open in May at the Dulles Landing shopping center near the intersection of Loudoun County Parkway and Highway 50 if construction finishes on schedule—this chain already has two locations in Frederick, Maryland and will join other retailers at the center. - ➤ Loudoun County Parks, Recreation and Community Services announced that the Comprehensive Arts Plan Draft is available for public review with feedback that will be accepted until Sunday, May 18 — residents can view supporting documents and join virtual meetings at 6-7 p.m. today and 12-1 p.m. April 30 to learn more. - ➤ The Town of Leesburg’s Preservation Team will host its first-ever Preservation Day on May 8 at Thomas Balch Library starting at 1 p.m. to offer three free sessions on historic architecture and best practices for maintaining older buildings. Blue Ridge Leader
- ➤ Purcellville residents led by Brian Morgan filed a recall petition to remove Mayor Chris Bertaut, Vice Mayor Carl Ben Nett and council members to increase transparency and trust in town government—officials will review the petition for next steps. Loudoun Times-Mirror

- ➤ NVRC completed a year-long feasibility study to extend the Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail from Balls Buff Battlefield Park in Leesburg to Harpers Ferry in western Loudoun. Consultant Lardner/Klein Landscape Architects outlined three corridor options using existing roads – a Blue Route, a Yellow/Orange Route, and a river shoreline route – to guide future planning with Loudoun County and the National Park Service.
