- ➤ The Lincoln Strawberry Festival in Loudoun County, now in its second year, will start with a gala on May 16—then hold family events like a strawberry pancake breakfast, hayrides, and strawberry picking on Saturday and Sunday. - ➤ The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash that occurred on May 9 when deputies responded around 9:45 p.m. near the Loudoun County Parkway interchange—Michael James Singer, a 39-year-old Ashburn resident, died at the scene. Blue Ridge Leader

- ➤ The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office launched the Blue Envelope Program today to help drivers with communication differences by providing a free blue envelope that holds a photocopy of required documents+ optional communication cards with instructions, while deputies receive special training to better serve these citizens. - ➤ On May 3, Congressman Suhas Subramanyam held a town hall at Leesburg Elementary School to talk about federal plans that may cut Medicaid funding, warning that a 1% cut could leave 600,000 Virginians without coverage.
