- ➤ Yoder’s Dutch Delights, a Northern Virginia doughnut concept that began as a food truck and recently opened its first brick and mortar store in Manassas Park, will soon open an outlet at One Loudoun’s Container Park in Ashburn using a shipping container space. - ➤ Today, Leesburg Police partnered with Target and the county attorney’s office to hold a forum with local retailers to discuss organized theft and ways to quickly report crimes. - ➤ Leesburg Town Council received an informational briefing Monday on options for permanent retractable traffic barrier systems on King Street and town staff recommended using mobile vehicle barrier kits from Meridian Rapid Defense Group. The briefing reviewed fixed barrier choices costing $180,000 to $630,000 — noting challenges such as utility relocations — and Mayor Kelly Burk said she did not believe the council would move forward with a permanent system.
