Crimson Lane Vineyards in Linden named Ken Gray as its new general manager and he will lead the vineyard with his wine expertise and community development experience.

Gray spent eight years at Blue Valley Vineyard & Winery and led PlaceMark LLC (a consultancy for economic projects) before founding Rapp at Home (a nonprofit helping seniors age in place).

Loudoun County is getting a huge new Onelife Fitness center at Ashbrook Commons in Ashburn, where the gym will replace the former HomeGoods and AC Moore stores.

The planned 55,000 s.f. facility is valued at $10 million — it will offer strength and cardio training, an indoor saltwater pool, group fitness classes and a Kids Club for children.

Leesburg Police arrested a 16-year-old boy on May 14 at Wegmans for shoplifting+officers found him wearing a replica firearm and he now faces charges of retail theft and possession of a firearm under the age of 18.

The Leesburg council approved a fee waiver that covers $10,743 in costs for the Loudoun Pride Festival, which will be held at Ida Lee Park May 31 from noon to 6 p.m.—the waiver pays for parking rental, police services and public works staff to support the event.

The Board of Supervisors reviewed a data center application at Arcola Grove that would raise building height and include a gas-insulated substation—designed to reduce the substation’s footprint by 40% for extra distance from nearby homes.
