- ➤ The Loudoun County Department of General Services is holding a public hearing today to consider an amendment to the Solid Waste Management Plan that will increase landfill capacity by 6,140,000 cubic yards as authorized in 2020. - ➤ The Town of Leesburg installed an electric vehicle charging station on Lassiter Way with two converted parking spaces — one for standard and one for accessible use. - ➤ On June 3, the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors approved a $5.4 million loan to TM Associates, Inc. + The Knustson Companies to build 72 affordable rental units at Goose Creek Village West Apartments for residents earning less than 70% of the Area Median Income. They also reauthorized loans for Old Arcola School Apartments, Tuscarora Crossing Apartments Phase 1, and Phase 2 with Wellington Development Partners, LLC + Cornerstones, Inc. to keep the projects affordable for 75 years.
