- ➤ The King Street Experience opened in June at 107 N King in downtown Leesburg and now serves as a one-stop shop for local art, custom orders, and workshops. - ➤ JK Community Farm announced plans this month to build a food education center that would include private events—an idea the Land Trust of Virginia says violates the property's conservation easement. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Loudoun County’s Department of Housing and Community Development will host free virtual lunch-and-learn sessions on fair housing law for those involved in housing from July through September. The sessions will run on Wednesdays from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. on July 23, August 20 and September 24 — covering mental health protections, assistance animal guidelines and safeguards against discrimination based on national origin.
