- ➤ A Leesburg man, Steven Kowalik, was charged with involuntary manslaughter for a fatal crash on April 23 in Fairfax County that killed Michelle Davis; he turned himself in on July 11 and is set for arraignment today in Fairfax County General District Court. Loudoun Now
- ➤ A Loudoun County jury is deliberating the involuntary manslaughter trial of former propane technician Roger Bentley—accused of leaving a Sterling home with a leaking underground tank that caused an explosion on Feb. 16, which killed volunteer firefighter Trevor Brown and injured 11 others. WTOP
- ➤ The jury began deliberations in the trial of Roger Bentley, a former Southern States employee charged with felony involuntary manslaughter and three misdemeanors for a 2024 home explosion at 347 Silver Ridge Dr that killed volunteer firefighter Trevor Brown.
