ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Loudoun County government, the Loudoun Soil and Water Conservation District, and the Loudoun Invasive Removal Alliance are holding two information sessions on the Invasive Plant Species Management Program, one at The Barn at Brambleton (24439 Evergreen Mills Road in Ashburn on August 27 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.) and one at Bluemont Vineyard (18755 Foggy Bottom Road in Bluemont on September 9 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.). The program, approved on June 17 after a successful pilot, aims to promote removal of non-native plants that are harming local ecosystems and the economy. Loudoun County
