- ➤ Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery at Junction Plaza in Ashburn that occurred early Saturday morning on Aug 16—deputies said the suspect forced an employee to open a cash register at knifepoint and fled with less than $175 in cash and items while being described as a white or Hispanic male in all-black attire including a balaclava with white writing. - ➤ Southern States Cooperative petitioned Loudoun County Circuit Court on Aug 18 to approve a settlement in a wrongful death suit filed by the family of volunteer firefighter Trevor Brown, who died in a Feb 16 home explosion on Silver Ridge Drive.
