EDUCATION NEWS

  • On the first day of the 2025-26 school year, Loudoun County Public Schools focused on student belonging by hiring 626 new licensed staff and launching programs such as the Loudoun Recovery Academy and the Accelerated College and Employability Skills program with George Mason University and NVCC. Leesburg schools like Evergreen Mill Elementary also started clubs that teach empathy—helping older students support younger ones.  WTOP
