- ➤ Three former leaders of the defunct Luck of the Irish rescue pleaded guilty in Loudoun County Circuit Court on Thursday for animal cruelty crimes committed in 2022 and 2023 and received suspended sentences, probation, pet bans and community service requirements—authorities said over 100 animals were removed from unsafe conditions after an investigation. - ➤ Leesburg Police charged Tate E. Deitrich after he allegedly filmed someone without consent at a Target store—authorities arrested him on Aug. 11 in Bedford after a search that found evidence linking him to similar acts at other stores and he is now held at Blue Ridge Regional Jail. Loudoun Now
