Suhas Subramanyam joined other officials in urging the SCC to require Dominion Energy to bury the Golden to Mars transmission line in eastern Loudoun due to concerns over nearby neighborhoods and schools. He said high costs for ratepayers—driven by growing data centers—mean that the energy industry should share the extra burden, as public hearings are set for Sept. 18 and 29 at Rock Ridge High School.
