  • A parent has written to the Loudoun County School Board urging them to keep county funds available for capital improvements at existing charter schools, Hillsboro Charter Academy (HCA) and Middleburg Charter Academy (MCA), warning that ending funding would break agreements and increase costs for families. They argue that the relocation would risk damage to the shuttle and waste taxpayer dollars—threatening its public access and tourism benefits.  Inside Nova
  • At their Sept 16 meeting, the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors approved Phase 2 of the Data Center Project Plan, which will update rules for data centers, substations, and backup power by reviewing zoning and policies. • The federal government entered a partial shutdown at midnight Wednesday after lawmakers failed to agree on a spending plan—affecting federal workers and nearby services in Northern Virginia.
