- ➤ Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken & Wings will start a soft opening on December 10 at East Gate Marketplace in southern Loudoun County—occupying a space that once housed Marco’s Pizza—and will hold its grand opening on December 17. The Burn
- ➤ Willard Retail announced a new pickleball venue by The Picklr is planned for Sterling in the Cascades Marketplace—taking over a 30,000 s.f. space formerly occupied by Marshalls. - ➤ Loudoun Credit Union launched Local Currency, a new show on Loudoun Now Voice that tells personal financial stories from Loudoun residents to explain everyday money decisions. - ➤ Loudoun County is developing a Natural Resources Strategy—asking residents, workers and others with ties to the area to share ideas through an online survey open until Dec. 31. The new plan builds on the 2019 Comprehensive Plan and aims to protect streams, forests and wildlife habitats while supporting clean water and outdoor opportunities. Loudoun County

- ➤ Today, Loudoun County supervisors will review a study from the Affordable Dwelling Unit Advisory Board that finds permanent tiny homes sized under 600 square feet could help lower housing costs — offering options for both rental and homeownership while excluding mobile homes and developments in the Rural Policy Area. - ➤ Leesburg donors can help save lives this holiday season as Inova Blood Donor Services will hold blood drives in Loudoun County on December 8, 9, 10, 13, and 20 at community locations including two events in Leesburg—donations are needed to reach a goal of 60,000 in honor of 60 years of service.
