- ➤ On Monday, Dec. 8, the Loudoun County School Board held its final hearing on proposed attendance zone changes for Ashburn & Dulles North elementary schools with over 100 community members in attendance, and the board will vote on a final plan next Tuesday. Loudoun Now
- ➤ The LCPS board has proposed shifting students between elementary schools to balance enrollment amid declining numbers + officials say the plan avoids the need for expensive new construction. Some parents expressed anger over the rezoning plan. Loudoun Times-Mirror
- ➤ The Loudoun County School Board’s Performance Monitoring Committee reviewed data Tuesday showing a rise in English learner proficiency from 53.9% last year to 55.6% this year, with Sterling Middle School and Park View High School reporting significant gains.
