Loudoun County Animal Services will host a fee-waived pet adoption event on Saturday, Dec.
20 and Sunday, Dec. 21 at the Animal Shelter on Adoption Drive in Leesburg + the event offers adoptions for cats, dogs, rabbits, and small pets along with a kids craft station and giveaways for adopters.

Patrick's Elegant Living will move into the vacant two-floor former Nordstrom's store at Dulles Town Center in Sterling later this month, pending permit approval; the high-end furniture retailer left its Tysons Corner Center space in October.
Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken & Wings began its soft opening today at East Gate Marketplace on Highway 50, taking over the former Marco’s Pizza space.
The new branch is the restaurant’s fourth location in Loudoun County — its permanent sign is still pending.
A new Indian restaurant, Amrut, unveiled its sign today at Brambleton Corner Plaza in Ashburn.
The restaurant will offer full-service + fast-casual dining options and hopes to open before the new year.
